No, everyone who is new to the sport or wanting to sign up as a monthly member gets a free trial class to make sure our gym is the right fit for you. After that if you are still unsure you can just pay as you train per day if you was not wanting to commit to a monthly membership.

Our coaches are at least Purple belt or above in BJJ showing commitment and years of experience in their area of skill, our coaches also have First Aid training and Safeguarding for children and undergo DBS checks to ensure the safety of our members.
The Gi is a Kimono style outfit similar to what is used in Judo, you are graded by belt systems and the techniques rely on grips and collar chokes.
No Gi is a style that is faster paced due to the slippery nature and people who train this usually adopt shorts and t-shirt or Rash guard and Spats.
If you are coming to one of our "No-Gi" sessions then all you need to bring is shorts and t-shirt (No zips). If you are wanting to try our "Gi" classes we do have free use Gi's that can be loaned in the gym.
Of course, doing a combat sport always comes with risks however our experienced instructors will be on hand to monitor all activities and provide the correct techniques in a safe and controlled environment.
Our instructors are all first aid trained and first aid trainers in their own right so immediate care will be provided. We also make sure to keep ample first aid equipment to administer should the unlikely event happen; our members are also insured when you sign up.
Yes of course! However it is much more cost effective to pay monthly for you; As a monthly member you will also benefit from our member insurance and other offers.
Absolutely not, we do not believe in contracts. If in the unlikely event you no longer want to train then you can use our third party app to cancel your membership and as long as you cancel within the timeframe before your next payment is due then you will not be charged anymore.
Of course! We offer drop in's for travelling members of our sport.
Absolutely not! We have no traitors here! (JOKING) We encourage all of our members to cross train, as fantastic as our coaches are; every coach has different skill levels and areas of strength that we want our members to be exposed to! We will be frequently arranging drop in's at other gyms for sparring and training regularly.
As a parent we understand the need to make sure your child is safe, but as coaches we must also make sure your child is receiving the best teaching with minimal distractions.
Although competing isn't mandatory we do encourage it, it's great for team building and allows you to test your skills against people your weight, age and skill level.
